Stinky the cat (Stinky the kitten) was found in a ditch last November. He had a broken leg, worms, and fleas. He was given to me by a friend to take care of until he was well enough to go back and live at my friend's house with a dog, another kitten, and two little girls. He had an operation that removed his ball joint from his hip socket, so his leg could heal. In this video he is about 7 weeks old, he had not had the operation yet, and he did not like having to stay in a cage alone. My other cats would sit outside his cage and reach in and try to steal his Kitten Chow. Beans, my younger female cat would sit by the cage for hours, and this seemed to calm Stinky down. Eventually, I let Beans go in the cage with Stinky, and they were both happy to stay in the cage together without making any fuss. Beans was born in an animal shelter, and spent most of her first year living there in a cage because of a medical condition, so she didn't mind being in the cage with Stinky. After Stinky's operation, Beans mothered him, whether he wanted it or not. She spent hours grooming him, which meant that she finally gave Chucky the cat a break from her imposing forced grooming sessions.
Stinky now lives in his new home, with his new family; he is full of energy and gets in all kinds of trouble. His leg healed up fine, and he has no limp at all. His new name is Tux, but when I see him I still call him Stinky, and he answers to it.
For several months this video was posted under another name on different channel that I help out with. I will be leaving the video there also, because it has been viewed and commented on quite a bit.
