I have other NBC videos to upload, but my computer kept barfing when I tried to put them up. Town meeting and What's This will be up eventually.

I got the song lyrics from the same website as my previous video, and I did the translation. Enjoy!

Notes:
1. Jack's singing and dialogue come from the wonderful Olivier Constantin. According to French Wikipedia, his mother is Lucie Dolene, the second (and best) French Snow White. He is also John Smith in Pocahontas. I love him.

2. Yes, he says "Jack, the scarecrow" instead of pumpkin king. However, throughout the movie they still refer to him as "Le roi des citrouilles," The King of Pumpkins. (At the end of an MP3 I have of This is Halloween in French, you can hear this hilarious sounding little monster yell "Vive le roi des citrouilles" but for some reason I don't hear it in my copy of the movie).

3. "Les revenants ne vont pas en revenir" sounds really cool, but the meaning I've come up with is kind of lame. Feel free to correct me.

4. When he says "Pour reciter etre ou ne pas etre" he's trying to sing in an English accent--so good!

5. Entrailles really means entrails, but it has a less literal sense of emotions or feelings. The double meaning is quite clever, since the statement is literally true (he's a skeleton) but he also feels that the metaphorical sense of the phrase is true.
