Performed by James Howard Young on Melodica.

This is a set of three 5-part pieces from Anthony Holborne (1545 - 1602) that he wrote "for viols, violins, or other musical wind instruments". So surely he must have also meant melodica? Nah. Anyway, here is a brief video where I've chosen to use Logic Pro's multimeter as a backdrop.

Here's the setlist with dance classifications and start time:
Almain "The Choise" 0'0"
Galliard "Heigh Ho Holiday" 1'11"
Galliard "Ecce Quam Bonum" 2'23"

There's a good article about this mysterious composer here:

Though we'll have to ignore the fact that they rank Holborne among the greatest composers of the time, along with Dowland, but they make no mention of Byrd!
