The Y2K bug, which was supposed to cause untold damages to power generation, industries and the possibility of the release of nuclear arsenals caused by the unwanted signals with the Y2K bug also contribute to the possibility of Rapture in 2000AD.
(Matt 25:1-5) “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.”
Virgins are Christians who have not been defiled by heresies, Mammon, distorted truth and things of this world (Jam 4:4) When was the time that virgins (godly Christians) were expecting the Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ? That was in year 2000AD (Y2K) when almost all, including godly Christians expected the coming of our Lord Jesus.
So, when our Lord Jesus did not appear (Rapture) in the year 2000AD as we expected Him to come, most Christians then thought that He had delayed His coming.
Can Jesus delay His coming?
They all (virgins) slumbered and slept – after 2000AD all watchmen of God stopped preaching the end time message (asleep)
(Matt 25:6) “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’” And at midnight a cry was heard – midnight is the darkness period of the day and spiritually the period of betrayal of brethren. Only during martyrdom, when the ever-lasting gospel is preached by the Holy Spirit, all will hear of His soon coming. So the cry calling the virgins to meet the Lord (bridegroom) will be by the Holy Spirit using the mouths of the martyrs.
(Matt 25:10 ) “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.”
The 5 wise virgins with the extra oil are those who are ready and they enter in with the bridegroom (Lord) to the wedding
Rev 19:7-8 “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the find linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
The bride of the Lamb, who had prepared herself, will be arrayed with fine linen, which is the righteous act of the saints.
The 5 wise virgins with the extra oil, who are ready, will be the bride of the Lamb, who had prepared herself.
(Matt 25:11-12) “Afterward the other (foolish) virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ “But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’”
But the 5 foolish virgins (without the extra oil) were all shut out and were not allowed to attend the wedding
(Matt 25:3-4 ) “Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.”
But the wise took oil – thus the extra oil taken along by the wise virgins will represent the righteous acts of the saints
Acts of the saints – ministries (sacrifices) out of love for the poor, destitute, orphans, widows, abused, oppressed, refugees, etc.
The wise virgins will continue faithfully in their ministries of love for the destitute though the Lord appears to be delayed.
The whole world was worried that many computers may fail to recognize when the year changes from 1999 to 2000. At its worst, the computers may send out unwanted signals causing untold damages by stopping power generation, causing cities and factories to come to a halt, and the possibility of the release of nuclear warheads causing World War 3.
(Matt 23:1-3) Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. “Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.”
These foolish virgins (pastors and church leaders) understand the word of God and faithfully teach them without any distortion.
Jam 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Brethren, let us walk by faith and not by sight anymore, so that we will have the extra oil before our Lord comes for us.
Make sure you have the extra oil (sacrifices).
The woman arrayed in the sun in Rev 12 represents Christ’s glorious church (Ten virgins) but only the male child (5 wise virgins) will be caught up at Rapture.
Matt 10:38-39 “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”
