THE WINNER OF THE GIVEAWAY IS ANNOUNCED BELOW
***~~The winner of the vanilla paste giveaway is wildheart5. ~~***
1 tomato cage
about 90 feet of garland
100-200 bulb lights (it is best to use a cord color similar to your garland)
heavy gauge wire
Prepare your cage by zip tying the tops together. Get your gauge wire and run it down the sides in between the existing sides to create more of a cone shape instead of a triangle.
Start by zip tying your light around the cage. You can alternately try just going up and down the wires, but your lights would be more uniform and not staggered... if that is what you like, do it!
Once that is done, it is time to wind the garland around on top of that. Once you are completed with the garland, pull the lights out. To double check if you missed any, look into the cage and poke any others out.
It is best if you use a green garland with the green strands of lighting and white with a white or silver. From afar you can't tell, but when you get closer, you can see the green poking out through the white garland.
Now, get creative!! If you haven't seen my hanger Christmas tree, you should try that one as well. You can find that here: http://youtu.be/dWaCg_yxZoI
Yes, this was done in two days. I did run out of daylight the first shoot, so I finished up the second day. If anyone can guess when this video was made, you win a shout out ;)
