This film was produced in 2010 by illustrator/animator Christine McMullen and Kim Zazzara, as a student project, and utilizes paper puppets. It is a testament to what can be done with modern software such as iMovie and Final Cut. The film is based on the classic folktale as retold many times. The most common version of the tale heard was in Alvin Schwartz's I Can Read book, In a Dark, Dark Room, available on Amazon.com.
The film is presented by Chilling Tales for Dark Nights: Frightening Films Fridays.
