On the evening of 12th July 2015 a pair of Pied Imperial-pigeons (Ducula bicolor) flying off from the nearby Alexandra Palm (Archontophoenix alexandrae) after feeding on the ripe fruits landed on the Ceram Palm (Rhopaloblaste ceramica) and began to pick the ripe fruits and swallow them whole.
