In light of the recent Tragedy in Boston, many will be evaluating what it means to have Faith. Check out Indiana Jones as he repels into his unsuspecting youth group in an effort to illustrate the point that in the same way rock climbers trust their gear with their lives, we need to have an authentic Biblical faith that trusts Jesus wholeheartedly, in season and out of season, in the midst of a crisis and when things are going well.. This was the second message in a series called "the Seven Checkpoints" which is based on a book by Pastor Andy Stanley and Stuart Hall. Drew Cope, a youth pastor at the Christian Life Center in New London PA at the time, dressed up as Indiana Jones for this stunt, rigged some climbing gear up to the superstructure of the building, and repelled down into the service. Check it out in these four videos, uploaded in 2009 when youtube limited videos to 10minutes in length.
