"Caroling, Caroling" is a popular Christmas song written by Alfred Burt and Wihla Hutson in 1953. The first commercial recording was on a Columbia record album cut in April of 1954. It was sung by the Columbia Choir with the Ralph Carmichael Brass Ensemble. Nat King Cole heard this recording and decided to include it in a new Christmas album. When this recording came out for in November of 1954 it was loved by all and drew attention to the other fifteen carols by Alfred Burt.

The song is also credited on Nat King Coles LP label as beign adapted by him and Edith Bergdahl.

Caroling, caroling, now we go
Christmas bells are ringing
Caroling, caroling thru the snow
Christmas bells are ringing

Joyous voices sweet and clear
Sing the sad of heart to cheer
Ding dong, ding dong
Christmas bells are ringing

Caroling, caroling thru the town
Christmas bells are ringing
Caroling, caroling up and down
Christmas bells are ringing
Mark ye well the song we sing
Gladsome tidings now we bring
Ding dong, ding dong
Christmas bells are ringing!

Ding dong, ding dong
Christmas bells are ringing
