Author: Jeremy Druin Twitter: @webpwnized Description: Do errors show at the top of the page after installing Mutillidae on XAMPP? This video reviews post-installation of Mutillidae on Windows XP or Windows 7. After installing on some versions of XAMPP, Mutillidae will show errors at the top of the screen. These are warnings about the OWASP ESAPI library. On the front page of Mutillidae are detailed instructions about these errors. This video follows through those instructions to get rid of the PHP errors by altering the PHP.ini file parameter "error_reporting". Mutillidae is a free, open source web application that contains dozens of web app vulnerabilities from the OWASP Top Ten and beyond. The application is a safe, easy-to-use practice target for pen-testers, security enthusiasts, and students. Mutillidae contains 3 levels of defenses, hints, and instructions so it is ideal for those starting out in web pen-testing. Mutillidae is available from Irongeek.com and Sourceforge. Updates are tweeted to @webpwnized. The webpwnized youtube channel contains videos about using Mutillidae. Thank you for watching. Please support this channel.
