If you think the Google Nexus 7 is one of the best affordable Android tablets of the moment then you have to take a look at the Asus MeMO Pad HD 7, the newest addition to the bunch, featuring a quad core processor, 1 GB RAM and up to 16 GB storage, which can be extended with microSD cards.

Overall the $150 competitor to the Google Nexus 7 is fast in everyday use, but it fails when the comes to modern 3D games, which are running on low frame rates on this device. Anyway, if you're tight on the money you should probably get the ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7, but I personally advice you yo gather some more cash and wait for the Google Nexus 7 2.0, which will launch in a few days.
