Tuesday, March 9, 2010 marked the first day that same-sex couples in the District of Columbia were able to marry. At a ceremony at the Human Rights Campaign headquarters, three couples married in consecutive ceremonies.
First, Angelisa and Sinjoyla, followed by Reggie and Rocky, and finally Darlene and Candy.
