The 9.5mm 'home movie' film size was launched in France in 1922. Being French based (Pathe-Baby), it was decimated by World War 11. The UK franchise Pathescope went into receivership in 1960.
It was one man who virtually supported 9.5mm from around 1960 - the late Larry Pearce supplied camera film, printed films and equipment from 1960 on..... He was also the founder member (number 1) of UK 9.5mm movie club Group 9.5 which still exists today.
This interview was filmed around 2000 and was shown as a tribute at the Group 9.5 Annual Get-Together at Harpenden, UK in October 2012.
If you have an interest in the 9.5mm 'home movie' film size then why not join Group 9.5?
