The summit took place on March 7 in Sacramento at the California Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters. It brought together key industry, nonprofit and local and state government leaders to evaluate progress towards achieving the goals of Governor Brown's Executive Order on Zero Emission Vehicles gov.ca.gov/news.php?id=17463 and the Governor's ZEV Action Plan, and identify priority areas and critical next steps on California's pathway to 1.5 million ZEVs by 2025.

Nearly two years after Governor Brown issued his Executive Order on Zero Emission Vehicles, many of the ZEV Action Plan items are completed or underway, California leads the nation in the number of ZEV drivers with ZEV adoption having grown by over 250%, and Governor Brown signed six ZEV-related bills to help accelerate this adoption. The summit was an opportunity to identify ways to build upon our success.
