Our children were only 10, 8, 7 and 2 when we bought our family business, Lifetime Books and Gifts. In this new endeavor, our family had to embark on a journey across the United States. In essence, we had to live in an RV for 5 months, while week by week we visited a new state and set up for a new homeschool convention. Every Thursday morning for five months, our family, including 4 little children, set up a display of 400 to 600 sq. feet of books at major homeschool conventions around the country!

Nick, 8 years old, made eye to eye contact with a customer, letting that person know we were grateful for their purchase.
Gus jr, 10 years old, helped us re-stock the shelves and take care of his little sister, while dad and I answered questions.
