Video of Hatsumi Sensei at age 60 performing some of the exercises of the Ryutai Undo Ho (Dragon Body Stretching and Movement Exercises) during the 1992 Taikai in Gran Canaria, Spain. In Taijutsu the flexibility and health of the legs is of the greatest importance. At 80 years old and climbing Hatsumi Sensei still does an hour of natural exercises every day and goes for walks. This is an inspiration to us all!

These exercises come from a system called Makko-Ho Taiso 真向法体操. This system was developed by Wataru Nagai. However, these exercises are detailed in much older Japanese medical works and are a small part of a larger system of self-regulating exercises.
