Gold City Has Had an unprecedented six consecutive Singing News Magazine Group of the Year Awards.
They have been nominated for Dove awards for Album of the Year four times. Other dove nominations and awards for Song of the Year.
Gold City has also had dozens of Singing News Magazine Fan nominations and awards.
Named Cash Box Magazine's Southern Gospel Group of the Year twice.
Over the past decade, Gold City based in Glencoe, Alabama has garnered a vast array of awards and honors as it has captured the hearts of Southern Gospel fans throughout America.

Composed of Tim Riley, bass; Mike LeFevre, baritone; Brian Free, tenor; Ivan Parker, lead vocalist; Garry Jones, piano; Mark Fain, bass guitar, and Doug Riley, drums, Gold City has been the pacesetter in Southern Gospel music since shortly after its first performance in 1980.
They have taken almost every award offered in their category by the Gospel Music Association, Singing News Awards, and The Gospel Voice Awards. Their records have remained atop the charts and earned the albums, "The Gold City Quartet Live", "Movin' Up" and "Goin' Home" album of the year honors.
Gold City has won six consecutive Group of the Year awards, and each of the members have been honored individually for their contributions.
Tim Riley, a native of Gadsden, formerly sang as a member of the Southmen, and had also worked with Jones in the Dixie Echoes. LeFevre, a member of the famed LeFevre family, and Parker had toured with The Singing Americans, while Fain had played bass with The Nelons.
