CINCINNATI (Perry Schaible) -- Just feet away from children who were playing outside of Divine Day Care, police say multiple shots were fired killing a 20-year-old man Wednesday afternoon. Early Thursday morning, police identified him as Cameron Thompson.

Cincinnati Police Captain Michael Neville says the victim was shot once in the chest. Thompson ran about 80 feet before dying at the corner of McMillan Street and Stanton Avenue. Kelly Moll was trying to pick her son up when police had the area blocked off.

"It makes me second guess if I want to take my son back to that daycare. Right now I don't have a lot of options. So this is just awful, I don't know what I'm going to," said Moll.

The shooting happened around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon and police believe the suspect is also a man and was last seeing a gray sweatshirt.
