Christine Sinclair - Captain - Canadian Women's National Soccer Team.
Chevrolet has been a long time supporter of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Teams and we wish them well over the coming weeks. We asked ten London-bound athletes "What Drives You?" and also want to hear from Canadians how they feel about our Olympic participants. Who will you be cheering on in London? Sinclair has given Canada one of the most amazing Olympic performances in Canadian history during the 2012 Games.
FROM THE STAR: When soccer star Christine Sinclair got the call late Saturday night that she would be Canada's flag-bearer at the Olympic closing ceremonies, she was warned she could tell no one. Not her teammates. Not even her mother.
She couldn't do it. Both already knew by the time the Canadian Olympic Committee gathered to announce their choice Sunday.
"Do they even know yet?" Mark Tewksbury, Canada's Chef de Mission asked.
