Living things...moving things look fake.  What you see is no different from a high tech matte painting. Matte paintings looked real back in the 50's. CGI won't look real for quite a while.

there is still something subtly off about this cgi. if no one told me, i would think it was real, but there is somthing wrong with it, and i can't tell if it is the lighting, or the surfaces, or the movement, or any of those combined.
I think some of the White walkers CGI in the recent seasons are a bit poor,. however with landscapes and the dragons there's some very impressive work.

Does anyone know the artist/song name in this video?
Lucas Kreiman
Zoë Keating - Escape Artist. It says at the end. I strongly recommend you to check her up, I knew her work by this very video and is now one of my favorite performers.

Does the CGI rendering algorithm determine the rendering time, or is it the human made changes per render take up a majority of the rendering time? By how much does the efficiency of those algorithms vary?
Im playing this GoT rpg for a week now and it awesome! :) what do you think guys? Gameofthronesascent.at.vu

as an hobby 3D artist, some parts are too much afford, and easyer or unnecessary to make, but at the end a really nice work.
Yeah - they just used the point where the blue sky is all that's there to swap from realtime footage to their own 3-d rendered crow so they could show it getting hit by an arrow and fall off-screen.
