For the last ten plus years, Crescent Valley High School has hosted open scrimmages for teams in the FIRST Robotics Competition during the last days of build season. Held Saturday Feb. 15, the event gives students a chance to test robots they have built over the last six weeks and practice strategy for the upcoming district competitions. The build season ends at midnight Feb. 18, meaning the students only have a couple days to make last minute modifications to the bot before it is sealed up.
This year's game is called aerial assist. To watch an explanation of the rules, check out this animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxp4dk...
