We all love to give gifts to others!

Now we have the opportunity to give to children in Cambodia and Vanautu to bring joy to them this Christmas. Many of these children have never received gifts so let’s get onto this Baysiders!!!

Now some of you have been wondering how to assemble the flat pack Operation Christmas child box that you have purchased, well pay attention as the secrets will be revealed today!

First you place it with the lid section away from you, blank side facing you.
Then you fold in the four curvy parts.
Then it’s as easy as one, two, three, four.
Link one to two and three to four
Fold over the little side flaps and slot them in- wallah it’s coming together now guys!

Now only the lid to sort out!
This a bit more complicated but we can do this!
Watch carefully - as we lay the box down and then we fold the sides inwards and then twist the top little sections and fold them inwards, then we fold over the little top section and slot that in – all done!

Now we get decide who the box if for - Boy or girl and which age group – tick that off and then stick it on with tape.

Now the fun bit... filling the box with gifts that will really bring great joy to the child who receives it.

This box is for a teenage boy as teenage boys need to feel special as well!
1) Something to wear- a trendy t-shirt would be nice
2) Something to love- why not pop in a knitted animal from Kerobakan for double love!-show love hearts on the screen.
3) Something for school- pencils/pencil case/exercise book
4) Something to play with – tennis balls
5) Something for personal hygiene- soap/toothbrush- you need all the help you can get when you are a teenage boy!
6) Something special-sunglasses would be cool!- put them on and then place in the box.

Now we need to add the $9 freight which you can either pay on-line or place in the OCC envelope and pay in whatever mode suits you.

Place envelope inside the box and secure with a rubber band.
Then you can pray for the child who will receive the box that they will come to know the Lord who loves them.

Now you’ve done one box, why not do a few more or join with your connect group and fill a few more boxes.

Let’s share the love Bayside!

For more information see the OCC team. Boxes can be returned any week before 10th of October - Don’t wait until the last minute!!
