A MAN WALKS DOWN A STREET. WE HEAR BRIGHT CHEERY MUSIC AND A CHEERY VOICE OVER ANNOUNCER

Voiceover: This is Frank.

Voiceover: He’s a little bit friendly with his neighbours.

THE MAN GIVES HIS NEIGHBOUR A SMALL BUT FRIENDLY WAVE.
THE NEIGHBOUR GIVES A SMALL WAVE BACK.

Voiceover: He likes a little bit of music.

HE PUTS HEADPHONES ON

Voiceover: He’s sometimes a little bit late for work.

THE MAN LOOKS AT HIS WATCH AND STARTS RUNNING A LITTLE BIT

Voiceover: He likes a little bit of sauce on a pie. Just a little bit.

AT LUNCH, THE MAN PUTS A TINY BIT OF SAUCE ON A PIE

Voiceover: He’s spent a little of money on a house.

WE SEE FRANK NEXT TO A HOUSE

Voiceover: The house has…a little bit of Asbestos.

He wants to put in a spilt system air conditioner.
He reckons the danger of getting sick from inhaling asbestos fibres is only a little bit of a risk.
He heard it from someone. Just a little guy.

Voiceover: But Asbestos Fibres are a known Carcinogen.
Inhalation of fibres increases the risks of a number of respiratory diseases-
Including Asbestosis, Mesothelioma…and lung cancers.

Even limited short-term exposure can be dangerous.

We don’t know why some develop Mesothelioma even from just a little bit of exposure.

The World Health Organization has stated that there is no known minimum safety level for any form of Asbestos fibres.

This is why a precautionary approach should be adopted
