Two leading smartphones right now are the HTC EVO 4G LTE that is offered by Sprint and the Samsung Galaxy S3 that is offered by everyone. Because these are two great smartphones, I decided to test them against each other for all of you today.

In this test I am using the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE from Verizon Wireless. This is the Snapdragon 1.5GHz S4 dual core processor version that has 2GB of RAM, and it is not the 1.4GHz quad core, 1GB of RAM version that you find internationally. I am using the Verizon LTE version because the HTC EVO 4G LTE also has the Snapdragon 1.5GHz S4 dual core processor, so this is a fair test.

What is a fair test with smartphones anyway? There are no two smartphones with the same exact specifications. The only thing that we can do is test them and see the score.

I do nothing to alter the test at all. As you will see, I just press the start button for both tests. A system test and a internet speed test. Another way that I am making this fair is by connecting to the same exact WiFi source.
