This game proves that the BCS was a flawed system because Michigan got to go to the Sugar Bowl against a team that should not have been there also.  MSU got so robbed that year, and I think everybody knows we would've won the Sugar Bowl had we gotten to play in it.  It was so sad that the 3rd best team in the big ten and the second best team in the state of Michigan got to play in the BCS bowl and we didn't.  Wisconsin would've dominated Michigan had they played, it would've looked similar to the beatdown in this video.  MSU had to play Wisconsin twice, and only lost the second time because of a terrible decision and a questionable call.  But, I am glad MSU got to prove they could beat a quality SEC team in the bowl they played in.  Heck, they should've just flipped the Outback bowl and the Sugar Bowl and would've been a lot better.  Oh well, this year Michigan went 7-6 and lost in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and MSU won the Rose Bowl while going 13-1, so I can say we more than got revenge.  GO GREEN GO WHITE!!

Nothing is funnier than Michigan fans complaining about officiating in a game where they got the shit kicked out of them. What a bunch of loooosers.

I totally agree with Luke Hayes. I'm glad that the BCS is over because it was just a rigged system meant to glorify Michigan, Ohio State, SEC teams like Alabama, and much other historically relevant teams. MSU was so much better than Michigan. We beat Michigan, Wisconsin once (should've twice) and a quality Georgia from the great SEC. Michigan had one quality win that year, and that was a 45-17 beat down against an overestimated Nebraska team.. Even in 1999, MSU beat Michigan 31-28 but Michigan went to the Orange Bowl, while msu went to the Citrus Bowl (Now Capital One) Both teams were 10-2 that year.. fuck the BCS. Glad it's done

+rangerfan2487 Not bright. The first 33 wins came against the club level football team the Michigan Agricultural College Aggies, not the Michigan State College/University Spartans. Since 1950, when MSU became a member of the Big Ten, Michigan leads the series 35-27-2 when the game actually became an in-state rivalry.

I still say Keyshawn Martin is going to have a memorable career. I predict he blows up thos 2017 NFL stint. Only 27. From Westland John Glenn High baby! In Michigan. Was a baller at Michigan State. And NOW; the gunslinger Matthew Stafford is going to get him the ball!
