This is Desmond's story. When Desmond needed additional help in caring for his wife Darlene who has MS and a failing memory, WoodGreen offered holistic support for the both of them. Along with Desmond, this video also features Madeleine O'Neill, Manager of Seniors Day Programs, who discusses the importance and value of seniors social and activation programming for both participants and their caregivers. The video also features Jeremie, a coordinator with WoodGreen's Caregiver Support and Wellness Program, who works with Desmond to learn about cognitive behavioral therapy and self-care strategies and techniques.

WoodGreen Community Services and Sinai Health System are bringing together caregivers, patients, clinicians, community leaders, hospital administrators and health services researchers to co-design a truly caregiver-friendly community.
