Longplay of Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu ("Dragon Ball Z: Legend of the Super Saiyan"Wink, a RPG game released for Super Famicon in 1992 only in Japan, this was also the first game in the Dragon Ball franchise released for the japanese SNES.
This game covers the beginning of Dragon Ball Z, with the arrival of the Saiyans to the Earth and the evil empire of Freeza. The game system is with the use of cards for the attacks, the types of cards are: the attack cards (which always are renewed every battle and must be allocated to the characters, with from physical attack to an enemy, attack of all enemies and energy powers with KI) and consumables cards (cards with photos of the main characters in the series, whose function varies between recover HP and KI, increase BP and modify the attack cards during battles).
This game is simple and faithful with this anime. Your only problem is the few variety of enemies, which often only change color between one passage and other in the game.
I had to use the game in original japanese language, because there is no reliable fan translation of this game (the translated versions have terrible bugs, mistranslations or desyncs)
