Form of the Song

"Just Dance" is the song by
Lady Gaga from the pop culture phenomenon's debut record, The Fame, released in 2008. The song was one of the two international sensations released from the album, topping the Billboard charts for weeks. The Fame made it to the second slot on the charts. The album was followed-up by the 2009 release, The Fame Monster, which lead to Gaga's first headlining tour, the Monster Ball Tour.

The song's intro, verse and chorus contain all the same four chords, each of which is rather basic. The song is not recorded on guitar, so use palm-mute style on the strumming to give it the edgy, tighter sound to match up with the record.

To palm-mute, use the strumming hand, resting the side of your palm against the saddle where the strings fasten into the guitar. Follow along to learn how to palm-mute the chords

"Just Dance" uses the following song form:

* Intro
* Verse 1
* Chorus
* Verse 2
* Chorus
* Bridge (featuring Colby O'Donis)
* Breakdown chorus
* Chorus
* Bridge
* Chorus
* Outro
