Is a kiss just a kiss? In her new book, "The Science of Kissing," Sheril Kirshenbaum explores the real chemistry, history and biology behind one of humanity's fondest pastimes.
Kirshenbaum is a research associate with the Webber Energy Group at The University of Texas at Austin's Center for International Energy and Environmental Policy where she works on projects to enhance public understanding of energy issues

In each Science Study Break program you'll hear faculty members discuss realms of scientific possibility, evaluate presentations of science in popular culture, or mercilessly mock bad science and worse screenwriting.

Science Study Break is sponsored by the University Federal Credit Union.
