After a great deal of effort, and solving the puzzles the car set me (including missing and broken wires, a failed ignition unit and a blocked fuel pipe, I have started the engine for the first time. Nick Fulljames's work sounds fantastic after waiting so long to hear the results!

Getting the engine running and having the car roadworthy are 2 very different stages. I'm having some trouble with the timing (I think) and also still going through the electrics wire by wire. I'll do another film shortly! Peter

Wondering if we might see a few videos of you driving the car, perhaps as a ride-a-long and as a drive-by?

Peter, I am very happy for your victory, heaven knows you have been at for a long time. I have been following you since I purchased my 81 Targa back in Oct 2011.. I have learned so much about my own car from your post and comments. With the engine up and running, I am sensing that our journey is coming to a close? I hope not... Please keep up the amazing work, Thanks again for this content.

Mechanically, she sounds perfect. But have you fiddled with ignition timing and carb synchronization yet? Does'

Very good to hear the first run. I am just as excited as you are about you getting the old girl running again. I am still looking for a 911 3.2 1985 in black, but still no luck. I do look forward to seeing your videos on here as I have been watching your clips over the last year.
