WIP ("work in progress") of a 3D painting I am working on of my most popular vid on youtube to date.
Also, my most scrutinized vid as well!
It feels almost like 1 out of 10 comments or so has people questioning the proportioning of the bottom jaw... Now I'm not saying that I don't make mistakes or that my paintings don't contain flaws in some of the proportioning-- but this one struck me as odd.
No matter how many times I look at it, I can't see the "oversized" bottom jaw in this one pic... Maybe it's because no matter how I try to visualize it differently, this still remains my personal artist depiction-- which I had intended to be a forced perspective of foreshortening.
Don't get me wrong-- it doesn't bother me... The majority of the viewers can see it, and even the smaller percentage who think it's too big are still very kind and highly complimentary.
But I just wanted to show some of those people a quick demonstration of how the size of the bottom jaw can work. And since it is my most viewed vid, I'd better make sure y'all know 'm not a hack! ;D
Being that this is still WIP, there are some minor details that obviously do not line up, I know... but the main premise is still obvious in what I am showing.
