I have been working on this NES PC for several years in my spare time. I wanted a stock look, so the TV out, audio out, controller ports, and power/reset buttons all work. The DVD drive is hidden inside a broken Zelda cartridge. The inner frame is removable so you can exchange parts quickly and work on the PC outside of the case if necessary. You can see the build at my website http://modsandends.com/?p=64.
In the future I hope to build a gaming version and maybe a watercooled version. Perhaps they will be the same version. This box may get an Atom motherboard in it, but I will have to see if I can justify the cost.
