A few seconds from a 24 minute lecture about Geographic Information Systems. It was done in 4k resolution (actually even a bit higher) to be able to read all the details on the maps. It uses our touch theatre http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlWFtF.... However the data is produced by arcgis which isn't powerful enough to handle this many maps in real time. Therefore the scene was shot with our screen showing only green and the 4k data was blended in later. As we didn't have a 4k camera, the teacher was shot in HD only (good enough ;-) ).
We had only a few snapshots from arcgis, the zoom operation at 0:36 - very possible with our multi touch screen - is cleverly faked using Adobe After Effects and so are the reflections in the table.
Note that the screen itself has a resolution of 4900x1700, but the 4k video uses 4096x2160.
