Please read this before whining about the music:

The film was shot two years ago as a tribute to the owner, he's a big Status Quo fan, it originally had Quo as the soundtrack and original engine noise, had to substitute that for copyright reasons, the YouTube AudioSwap feature overwrote the fx soundtrack. I'll rework it when I have time!

Thanks to everyone who has viewed and commented so far. Over the next week, time allowing I'll post another couple of minutes of behind the scenes footage of the rollout for first flight. Thanks to all of you for your support for the amazing Hammond Flying Circus. Nik Coleman.

Awesome P51 Mustang 'Marinell' restored to flight by Maurice Hammond and his team. First Test Flight under UK CAA Regulations Saturday July 26 2008. See the team who worked on the aircraft and hear Maurice's reaction after his 'perfect' first 30 minute sortie.

Aircraft is a P-51D-5-NA in the markings of Major Bradford Stevens, 339th FG, 504 SQD.
