This is the original 1857 version of James Pierpont's "One Horse Open Sleigh", now known as "Jingle Bells". It is subtly different from the modern dumbed-down version - harder to sing, but more interesting. David Jarratt-Knock arranged the accompaniment for brass from the original piano score. Thanks to Hartlebury Museum for providing the Victorian Parlour.
