Satellite technology is an important tool for communication, observation and learning, yet contain many inefficiencies. IRIS (Iiko Research Institute for Satellites) is a program to track and retrieve space debris; aided by robotic technology, it recycles dead satellites. Satellites have changed our world; hopefully they will change the Iiko's too.
