Marci Koski, fish biologist at the Columbia River Fisheries Program Office presents an overview of monitoring efforts as part of the Clackamas River Bull Trout Reintroduction Program. You can learn more about the reintroduction program at http://www.fws.gov/oregonfwo/Species/.... The Service and a number of partners have been working to monitor and evaluate the health of donor bull trout stocks, effectiveness of their reintroduction and the potential impacts on other anadromous salmonids. The reintroduction is a 20 year effort: monitoring supports the broader program goals of returning this listed fish species to the Clackamas River Basin in a biologically sound and cost-effective manner that minimizes effects to other aquatic species.
