Installing the plugin in 6 easy steps:

1- On the Wordpress plugin directory, look for Tweet&Get It. Once you've found us, just click download !

2- A .zip file has just been installed on your computer with our files in it. Open FileZilla and log in. Go to httpdocs, wp-content, plugins. You now just have to drag the Tweet&Get It files from your computer to this section.

3- Before going further, make sure your uploads file has the right file permission settings (that is 777).

4- You must now go to your Wordpress Dashboard. In the plugin box, a Tweet&Get It section has appeared. By activating the plugin, you'll automatically create a new section in the left column.

5- In this new box, hit « Make your button ». In the first row, enter the Twitter account that will get the new follower with the download of your file. The row below contains the twit that will be sent by the user when downloading the file. You may now choose the file you want to share and then upload it. It is now time to name your button. Doing so will generate a shortcode below. Copy it.

6- It is now up to you to choose where you want the button to appear (remember you can install as many buttons as you want).

# Let's say you want it to appear on a post. Go in the « Post » section, click Add new post. In the first row, give a title to your post. In the blank box below, paste the shortcode you've just obtained. You must now publish it on to the page in order to apply changes. Hitting view page will allow you to access your site with the newly added Tweet&Get It button!!
# If you prefer to post it on a page, the process is the exact same (add new page, paste the shortcode and publish it)
# Now if instead of installing the button on a post or page you want it to appear as a widget, it is just as simple. In the Appearance section, select widget. Now, drag the text box in to the sidebar. A text field will appear, enter the title of the widget in the upper field and paste the shortcode in the blank space below. Save the changes. Your button is now installed!

Enjoy !
