Dr. Michael Eric Dyson was the keynote speaker for Columbus State's annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day in January 2012. After the ceremony, he paused to recognize the soulful signing of interpreter Royce Carpenter, who is a graduate of the college's Interpreting and Transliterating (ASL) program. With Carpenter's help, we got him to spit a little Jay-Z for us.
