About Dorsey
Dorsey is passionate about wellness, and the techniques she shares are firmly rooted in science: she has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently studying Applied Cognition & Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas. In addition, she coordinates research at the Center for BrainHealth looking at the impact of cognitive training on veterans with traumatic brain injuries. Dorsey has completed two-day, four-day, and ten-day silent meditation retreats and has studied the UMass Medical School’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction technique. As a recovering perfectionist and Type A engineer, she loves sharing practical mindfulness tips with high performers and those who think they are “too busy” or “too stressed” to meditate.
