And now an update on South Australia's heat wave.
Melbourne has just had the hottest week recorded in one hundred years. Locals in Victoria have been sweltering in over 40 degree heat. The city has been affected in many ways.
Trains and trams have suffered massive delays as the tracks buckled in the heat. The Victorian government gave commuters some relief last friday with free public transport.
With millions staying at home, trying to keep cool with air conditioning, this proved another problem with power shortages affecting many homes. Electricity ran so low, that power companies were forced to turn the electricity off in intervals and large businesses had to shut up shop.
Fire Fighters are still struggling to put out the raging bush fires that have already consumed over 6000 hectares and 29 homes.
