A rather large number of people seem to be confused about the purpose of this competition, so I'd like to clear a few things up.

-Yes, the sound in this video is quieter than Hikakins. There are two reasons for this. One, he has an enormous professional quality condenser microphone that alone probably cost more than the camera I filmed this one. Two, it's an ENDURANCE competition. When you're trying to make a sound for as long as possible, making it as loud as you can is just plain silly.
-Yes, I can do this sound a lot louder than I do. But, as mentioned before, that would be silly.
-At no point am I trying to show Hikakin up, nor am I trying to say one of us is the better beatboxer. We both cover very different grounds in beatboxing! This is, at least as far as I'm aware, a friendly competition. There's no "me v. him" at all.
-I will be making a tutorial for this soon.

With that off of my chest, I recommend having a go at the competition yourself - it's easier than it looks!

No editing here, so yes, you get the awkward "turning camera on and off".

This is a response to Hikakin's supposed "beatbox world record", along with me calling Hikakin out for my own endurance trial! Are you man enough, Hikakin? :p

This was actually a lot of fun though - challenges like this are a great way of building stamina and practicing!

(Side note - I hit the wrong button on my phone which caused it to lap - I then hit it again trying to stop it, that's why two times are shown. My true time was the smaller number of 23.13. That was actually the worst time I managed to get - in warming up I had over 30 seconds!)

Peace, love, and friendly rivalry

-FT
