The Volunteer Guardian ad Litem Experience
Every child deserves a safe, permanent home that provides for his or her physical needs and emotional well-being. The Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem program recruits, trains and supervises volunteers who are committed to advocating for children taken from homes of abuse and neglect.
Guardian ad Litem volunteers serve as the eyes and the ears of the court. Volunteers are trained to give family court judges a more complete picture of the child's needs and wishes.
Guardian ad Litem volunteers are simply ordinary people who serve as the voice of a child in court. We have volunteers from all cultures, professions, and educational backgrounds and we would love for you to join us! Call your county office today!
