Mohammed al Khadra, founder of the Council of Ex-Muslims of Jordan, is the guest on this week’s episode of “Freethought Matters,” a weekly production of the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
“Khadra,” as he is known, fled Jordan this year after facing potential arrest or assassination as an open atheist. Khadra, who was born in the United States, was able to fly to the United States thanks to the assistance of Nonbelief Relief and other agencies. He is an outspoken advocate for freedom of speech, secularism and human rights. Learn more about the Freedom From Religion Foundation at ffrf.org.
