Heres a virtual movie of Patrick Henry (May 29, 1736 June 6, 1799 making his famous Speech to the Virginia Convention in 1775 imploring his fellow Americans to take up arms against the British colonialists that ended in the limmortal lines "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death!" . Patrick Henry (May 29, 1736 June 6, 1799)[1] served as the first and sixth post-colonial Governor of Virginia from 1776 to 1779 and subsequently, from 1784 to 1786. A prominent figure in the American Revolution, Henry is known and remembered for his "Give me Liberty, or give me Death!" speech, and as one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. To avoid interference from Lieutenant-Governor Dunmore and his Royal Marines, the Second Virginia Convention met March 20, 1775 inland at Richmond--in what is now called St. John's Church--instead of the Capitol in Williamsburg.
