The Eta Programming language is a dialect of Haskell for the JMV.
Eta has a set of characteristics that differentiate it from other languages. It's functional, pure, lazy, statically typed and interoperable with Java. I will describe what each of this characteristics mean and how they compare to other programming languages, including some code examples. I will also enumerate the benefits of using this language and why I think it is a language worth to learn.
