Super Mario 64 - Skip Endless Stairs Glitch

According to my YouTube analytics, a lot of views for this video are coming from Reddit. If you happen to have come from there, I'd appreciate a URL of the place where this was linked. :-)

This glitch allows you to skip the endless stairs before acquiring at least 70 stars.

-Go to the endless stairs.

-Backwards long jump up the stairs. To do this, Run away from the top of the stairs, long jump, then continue tapping A rapidly and hold the control stick backwards.

-Eventually, you'll speed up and get to the top.
