Crispin Glover appeared on the David Letterman show on 7/28/1987 to promote River's Edge. Instead, he was really promoting Rubin & Ed (a brilliant classic). In it, he plays Rubin Farr, so he came as that character, without telling anyone. Letterman didn't get it, as you can see. But there are rumors he was on acid, or crazy, or whatever. He's just a genius, that's all. If you can get your hands on that movie, I'd advise it. You can order from the director at echocave . net.
