In this video, Im going to show you why the bench crunch will help you get a six pack, and why I think it is one of the best abs exercises there is.
When you do bench crunches, your chest can do below parallel. This works out your abs over a greater range of motion than when you do normal crunches on the floor. This is why the bench crunch a little bit harder and a lot more effective at building your abs.
Its also better than a normal crunch because it forces your abs to stay tight throughout the exercise, because you cannot relax your upper back on the floor. Many beginners make this mistake, and it makes on-the-floor crunches way too easy and not effective at all for getting six pack abs.
