Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, is a 2012 third-person shooter video game with online playability for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. It is developed by Slant Six Games and published by Capcom. The game is a new installment in the Resident Evil series of video games and was developed by Slant Six Games instead of Capcom. It is set at the same time as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, but is unrelated to the main series storyline and is a "what-if", non-canon entry in the series.

U.S.S. Delta team (also known as "Wolfpack") enters the Raccoon City Underground Laboratory, where they meet up with Alpha team leader HUNK. Their mission: to assist the Alphas in stopping Dr. Birkin from handing over his G-Virus research to the US Military and retrieve the G-Virus. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City includes three unique sets of characters: Wolfpack, Echo Six and Classic. Wolfpack characters include Vector, Beltway, Lupo, Spectre, Bertha and Four Eyes. Echo Six characters include Willow, Dee-Ay, Tweed, Harley, Shona and Party Girl. Classic characters include Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, HUNK, Nicholai Zinoviev, LONE WOLF and Ada Wong.

I don't see why this game gets so much hate, it feels like Gears Of War or Spec Ops: The Line set in a Resident Evil style universe. Which is pretty bad ass to me. I love how the games are focusing more on action and kicking zombie ass these days as opposed to constant backtracking and slower gameplay. The games never really interested me until 4 came out and just blew my mind with the cool shit you could do. So this game is fine by me

I actually enjoyed this game. I don't understand why people hated it so much. Although quite understandable when compared with other games in the series. Still it had more to do with the story and was better than any of the damn movies.

Topsy Kretts everyone hates it because most of the resident evil fans are hardcore and hate seeing action "taint" THEIR series i got my bang for my buck i enjoyed and loved this game especially the realism of if you get bit you actually turn into a zombie

ORC is an ok game, but for those of us who paid the full price, it's  disappointing and a slap to the face! but I enjoyed it more than RE6

Haven't finished it yet..i really enjoy the game..but I can tell they tried to mix elements from old RE and first person games..it's good..but RE2 is the best one Capcom will ever make in my opinion.
